چکیده

Bu ara?t?rma ortaokul matematik ö?retmenlerinin matematiksel modelleme hakk?ndaki fark?ndaliklar?n? belirlemek amac?yla yap?lm??t?r. Ara?t?rmada karma yöntemlerinin s?ral? tasar?m grubundan N?TEL>nitel tasar?m? yöntem olarak kullan?lm??t?r. Ara?t?rman?n çal??ma grubunu Do?u Anadolu Bölgesinin orta ölçekli bir iline ba?l? ortaokullarda görev yapmakta olan 29 ö?retmeni olu?turmaktad?r. Veriler “Matematiksel Modelleme Görü?me Formu” ve Gözlem kullan?larak toplanm??t?r. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi betimsel analize tabi tutulmu?tur. Yap?lan analizler sonucunda; ö?retmenlerin büyük k?sm? modellemeyi model olu?turma veya süreci tan?mlad?klar? fakat burada süreç kelimesi ile somut materyallerin kullan?m?n? kastettikleri belirlenmi?tir. Ayn? zamanda ö?retmenler en çok cebirsel ifadeler, tam say?larda dört i?lem kesirler gibi konularda kulland?klar?n? ifade etmi?lerdir. ilgili e?itim alan almayan ders gözlemleri sonucunda kullanma aç?s?ndan herhangi farkl?l??a rastlanmam??t?r. Sonuç fark?ndal?klar?n?n oldukça dü?ük oldu?u modellemeyi, matemati?i kar??t?rd?klar? Ö?retmenlere modellemenin derslerde nas?l kullan?labilece?i e?itimler verilmesi ara?t?rman?n önerileri aras?ndad?r.
